Liv Tyler and her rock singer husband, Royston Langdon, are expecting their first child, PEOPLE has learned. Her publicist confirms that she's due sometime next winter. "Roy and I are both overjoyed and look forward to the arrival of our child," says Tyler.

Tyler, 27, shares that downtown Manhattan garden with her musician husband, Royston Langdon, 33, and their son, Milo, 6 months. So besotted is Tyler with her child that she puts him on the phone to say hello while cooing to him that she's busy doing an interview. "I must say, he's quite the looker," the proud mom says. "We waited to know if he was a boy or a girl because we wanted to be surprised. He came out and was so amazing and perfect and beautiful."
