Joey (Lisa Ryder) is the head of a kidnapping ring that includes a couple of lowlifes named Avery and Creed. After they abduct the daughter of a celebrity self-help expert, their foolproof plan quickly backfires when Joey takes the girl and skips out, double-crossing Avery and Creed out of any potential ransom. Headed for the Canadian border, Joey and her young charge begin to bond in a way neither expected. Terry O'Brien directs.

The student explorers, led by Archaeology Professor Lowe (Jonathan Potts) and their tech-droid KAY-EM 14 (Lisa Ryder) enter the ancient underground remains of the Crystal Lake Research Facility. There, they make a major archaeological discovery: two frozen ancestors - a beautiful young woman and a large man wearing a strange mask. There's only one problem: the auto-regeneration procedure has somehow been triggered. The frozen cryo-jell is melting like a block of ice and soon the two bodies will thaw and deteriorate! With time running out, the young explorers return to their starship and blast- off for Earth II, where they are surprisingly able to revive Rowan, the young woman. But very soon, these students will come face-to-face with a shocking, totally new form of evil as Jason comes back to life as well and begins to silently stalk them through the corridors of the spacecraft.

Lisa Ryder, who plays Captain Beka Valentine on Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda, doesn't mind trading reality for science fiction. The actress has already starred in Total Recall 2070, Psi Factor, and upcoming Friday the 13th sequel Jason X, plus Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict. Her new job puts her in command of the salvage freighter Eureka Maru, currently docked in the hold of the Andromeda Ascendant, of which she is acting first officer. In practical terms, this means Valentine often takes Captain Dylan Hunt up on his offer to give him a good kick when he needs one.
