Gossip magazines are reporting that Long Island native Lindsay Lohan is moving in with LA friend Courtenay Semel, daughter of Yahoo! boss Terry Semel. If that's true, perhaps the starlet will be summering at Semel's family's home on Further Lane in East Hampton. That way she can party like a rock star (Red Bull only, of course) and rest up at the folks' North Merrick place. See their house here.

Lindsay Lohan has just been fired by Island records, her U.K record label, after she didn’t bother to fly to the U.K to take part in a planned promotional effort to help sales for her album “speak”. The album which was completed in 2005 has been shelved by the angry label.

According to TMZ, Lohan was driven by her lawyer, Blair Berk, to Malibu Promises Rehab this Monday. In their report, a source said that she will be in for "a serious medical treatment program," and will be a resident for perhaps 30 days. She will then have a long outpatient treatment program to attend for a much longer time period.

The Independent reports Ms. Lohan was a straight “A” student in school when she lived on Long Island. One begins to wonder about the how and why she earned those perfect marks.
