Linda Evangelista has denied rumors her baby’s father is Salma Hayek's fiance. Online reports emerged last week suggesting French businessperson Francois-Henri Pinault, 45 fathered both Hayek's new daughter and Evangelista's one-year-old. A spokesperson for Evangelista claims, "Not true. She has never said who the father is."

The daughter of working-class Italian parents, Linda Evangelista was born May 10, 1965, in St. Catharine's, Ontario. By 12 she knew she wanted to model, and at 15, as a contestant in the Miss Teen Niagara pageant, she was discovered by a scout from Elite in New York. The next three years were spent doing small modelling jobs close to home before making the jump to New York.

Canadian supermodel LINDA EVANGELISTA has reportedly found love with Hard Rock Cafe founder PETER MORTON. The pair recently moved into a Los Angeles mansion together after dating for three months, British newspaper reports claim. Evangelista, 41, gave birth to son AUGUSTIN just last month (OCT06). She is fiercely protective of her private life and has always refused to name the father. Morton, 60, is the father of playboy HARRY MORTON, who recently ended his relationship with LINDSAY LOHAN.

In 1999, Evangelista suffered a miscarriage after being 6 months pregnant by Barthez. To her delight, on October 11, 2006, she gave birth to son, Augustin James. The father is an unnamed New York architect. She has made it known for years throughout her career of her desire to have children. [5] While pregnant, Evangelista appeared on the August 2006 issue of Vogue magazine. She was the first non-actress/singer model to appear on Vogue in over a year. In the issue, Evangelista said she was "pro-cosmetic-procedure" and admitted to using Botox, but said she stopped during her pregnancy. [6]
