It is not very often that you see Linda Evangelista's little boy, Augustin James, out in public. The 42 year old mom and former supermodel was seen cuddling her little guy on a yacht off the Caribbean island of St Barts. She juggles Augustin, 14 months, a bottle of milk and a teddy bear, which every mom knows is a common occurrence when you have young ones.

Everyone in the fashion world knew that Evangelista's three-year disappearing act was not simply a happy, lazy vacation from being thin and beautiful. There have been all sorts of rumors (the most absurd being that she had had a lung removed) that were allowed to flourish and grow more twisted because of the silence and mystery surrounding her absence. In reality, some terrible things did happen. Her beloved 18-month-old golden retriever bit one of her friends very badly and had to be put to sleep. She was burglarized while she was home in St. Tropez and all of her "bijoux," as she says, were stolen, along with nearly everything else of value she owned.
