Lincoln Ls: Ls V8
built 661 days ago
The Lincoln LS has been significantly improved for 2003. The V8 and V6 engines are smoother and more powerful, and the suspensions have been returned for a smoother, quieter ride and more precise handling. A host of interior refinements make life in the Lincoln more comfortable.
The LS was introduced in early 1999 as a 2000 model year vehicle, in part as the successor for the Lincoln Mark VIII coupe. It was the first Lincoln in decades to offer an optional manual transmission. With its available V8 power, rear wheel drive, and near 50/50 weight distribution, the LS was an attractive alternative to European and Japanese sports sedans.
The Lincoln is a full sized luxury sedan that falls under the Ford luxury car division. This has gotten a mark as the traditional American sedan and the car comes with a V8 engine, rear wheel drive and an interior and exterior that is exceptional. The Lincoln is one of the largest cars on the market and is an American made car and measures a total of 18 feet in length. Despite the lowering of the sales numbers the car is still one of the best selling luxury cars in America.
Have you seen how quickly Lincoln LS’ depreciates on the used car market? Now you can have a 2006 LS V8 Sport with low miles, certified pre-owned, etc for $25,000. This was a $45,000 car last year! That interior is one reason why.
Two engines are available for the 2003 Lincoln LS: a 3.0-liter V6 and a 3.9-liter V8. The V6 is offered with base or Premium trim, while the V8 comes with Sport or Premium Sport trim. All come standard with a five-speed automatic transmission.
