Teri Hatcher and Lesley Ann Warren are running errands during one of their rare hours away from the set of Desperate Housewives. They call in from their cell phones to promote Warren's Sunday night (9 ET/PT) debut as Sophie Bremmer, the klutzy mother to Hatcher's equally clumsy Susan.

Lesley Ann Warren Lesley Ann Warren has one of the most delightful comic sensibilities of any actress in the last 25-30 years. Why hasn't that meant more? She is a great guest star on episodic TV, but it really seems that someone should have utilized her more effectively. To see her at her best, check out "Victor/Victoria" which contains her Oscar-nominated performance. She's delicious.

Lesley Ann Warren reflects. Lesley Ann Warren, John Davidson, and Richard Sherman ... participate in a screen-specific, feature-length audio commentary, but again, the three have been recorded separately. As a result, there's a noticeable lack of energy and continuous flow. Sherman talks primarily about the songs and Walt's influence. Warren comments more on the people she worked with and her experiences with the Disney studio. When John Davidson talks, it's often about his personal experience with filmmaking and Disney.
Susan's mom, Sophie (guest star Lesley Ann Warren), pays an unannounced visit to Wisteria Lane after she and her boyfriend (guest star Bob Newhart) call it quits. Meanwhile, Gabrielle faces Carlos' wrath after he learns about the settlement, and Lynette and Bree experience a chill in their friendship after Bree babysits Lynette's kids and dares to discipline Porter.
Julie Andrews, Robert Preston, and Lesley Ann Warren were all nominated for Academy Awards (Best Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Supporting Actress) for Victor/Victoria, as were Henry Mancini and Leslie Bricusse. Edward's screenplay was ... nominated, along with art direction, and costume design.(1982 Academy Awards)

[I]s Joe Carder (John Davidson), an outspoken young charmer who has his eyes on the eldest Bower daughter Alice (Lesley Ann Warren), the only one the film opts to develop at all. Carder heads a Republican publication and speaks with passion about southern Dakota and its quest for statehood. Alice meets Joe with nervousness and excitement; the two have been corresponding via letters.
