1. The Sundays -- Great Lent
   The Sundays have long been pegged for pop greatness, but their albums are few and far between. In fact, the London-based band's third album, Static & Silence, is their first full-length in five years.
2. Ash -- Great Lent
   When Ash was first given life by the cool Brotherhood (When he was baby-napped), he realized he would be different from all the other cool kids. Not only would he keep his geekism secret, a great feat as marked in "The Book of The Geeks", but he would make Japan what it is today. When the Lord Hobo handed Ash his token vest, jeans, and biking gloves ,he whispered in Ash's ear, "I kick the water after dark," and Ash understood it as what it meant, and then Ash headed out of the giant ricepaper fortress and across the Ug'Kache Gate into our realm.
3. Ash -- Ash Wednesday
   In the Western Church, Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, the 40-day period of fasting before Easter. On Ash Wednesday, ashes are blessed, mixed with either holy oil or water, and imposed on the head with the sign of the cross, or sprinkled on the forehead. The ashes are made from burning palm branches blessed the previous year on Palm Sunday. When the priest imposes the ashes he says either "remember man you are dust, and to dust you will return" (see Genesis 3:19), or "turn away from sin and be faithful to the Gospel" (Mark 1:15).
4. Mothers Day -- Easter Sunday
   Mothers Day was first celebrated in the United States in the early twentieth century. In 1907 Ana Jarvis began a campaign to establish a national day for mothers. She persuaded her mother's church to celebrate Mother's Day on the anniversary of her mother's death, the 2nd Sunday of May. By the next year Mother's Day was celebrated in Philadelphia.
5. Barclays Bank -- Zimbabwe
   Barclays bank is helping to bankroll President Robert Mugabe's regime in Zimbabwe, providing millions of pounds of support for his vilified land reforms, The Observer can reveal. Mugabe's opponents describe the bank's activities as a 'disgrace' and an 'insult' to the millions who have suffered human rights abuses.
6. Bible -- Bible Society
   American Bible Society, founded in 1816, is a donor-supported nonprofit ministry with a purpose of presenting the Bible in compelling ways. The organization focuses on advocacy and resourcing through strong relationships with strategic partners. The American Bible Society migrated to Microsoft Great Plains in 2002. http://www.americanbible.org
7. Lorraine Bracco -- Wines
   Actress Lorraine Bracco is about to unveil Rosato, a new rose from Salento, Italy, the ninth wine under her Bracco Wines label. On Aug. 26, a lucky group of invited guests will gather at the Water Mill mansion of Bracco's friend, real estate principal/chef Andrew Borrok, for hors d'oeuvres and a tasting of the new import.
8. Westminster Abbey -- Westminster Palace
   The Collegiate Church of St Peter, Westminster, which is almost always referred to as Westminster Abbey, is a mainly Gothic church, on the scale of a cathedral, in Westminster, London, just to the west of the Palace of Westminster. It is the traditional place of coronation and burial site for English monarchs.
9. Duquesne University -- Duquesne Campus
