   The official Lego website is www.lego.com. For many years, visitors to www.legos.com (... registered to the Lego Group) have received notices similar to the one pictured, and were intentionally redirected to the official website, to further protect the brand.

   Since it began producing plastic bricks, the Lego Group has released thousands of play sets themed around a variety of topics. Examples include, but are not limited to, space, robots, pirates, vikings, ninjas, medieval castles, dinosaurs, holiday locations, the wild west, the Arctic, airports, miners, Star Wars, SpongeBob SquarePants, Harry Potter and Exo-Force. Lego sets designed to appeal to young girls such as the Clikits line which consists of small interlocking parts that are meant to encourage creativity and arts and crafts, much like regular Lego bricks. Clikit pieces can interlock with regular Lego bricks as decorative elements.
3. Lego -- Lego Mindstorms
   Lego Mindstorms is the first affordable, mass-market robotics lab! For decades, LEGO has provided snappable, stackable plastic bricks for creating vehicles, buildings, or whatever else your imagination can produce. MindStorms adds a computerized brick, motors, sensors, and a set of software "bricks" that are snapped together on a PC screen and transmitted to the smart LEGO brick with an infrared beam.

   Manufacturing of Lego bricks occurs at a number of locations around the world. Molding is done at one of two plants in Denmark and Czech Republic. Brick decorations and packaging is done at plants in Denmark, United States, Mexico and the Czech Republic. Annual production of Lego bricks averages approximately 20 billion (2×1010) per year, or about 6000 pieces per second. To put this in context, if all the Lego bricks ever produced were to be divided equally among a world population of six billion, each person would have 62 Lego bricks.[2]

   In 2007, Lego Group announced a restructuring of the current production setup including the outsourcing of some of the production work to Flextronics, a Singaporean electronics company. [4] Lego Group plans to close the production facility in Enfield, Connecticut and outsource this work to the Flextronics factory in Mexico.[4][5] Flextronics will ... oversee the factory in Kladno, Czech Republic. The Czech facilities would also be expanded due to the planned closing of the Swiss factory in Baar, which mostly manufactured TECHNIC parts.[5]

   Lego Bionicle was an amazing addion to the Lego line when they were introduced several year ago. In addition to Lego Bionicle, Lego building toys are arguably the greatest building toys of all time. There's just nothing bad you can say about Lego.

8. Bionicle -- Bionicle Lego
   Bionicle Heroes is a 3D video game of the third-person shooter genre, based on Lego popular Bionicle franchise. It was released in November 2006 by TT Games on all then-current console systems (Playstation 2, Xbox 360, and Nintendo GameCube), PC, and Nintendo's handhelds (Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS); a Nintendo Wii version was later released in April 2007. The game stars Bionicle's 2006 feature characters, the Toa Inika and the Piraka. Players must destroy enemies, solve puzzles in order to progress further, and throughout the game, maximize their individual special powers (for example: the ability to activate certain objects, construct vehicles and platforms, or even binocular vision) and gain better and deadlier weapons.
9. Lego Star Wars: The Video Game -- Lego Star Wars Ii
   Lego Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy is the sequel to Lego Star Wars: The Video Game. It was released on September 12, 2006. The game was released concurrently with the DVDs of the original, unaltered films of the original trilogy. The game is available on the Xbox, Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, GameCube, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, Game Boy Advance, and PC.
10. Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen -- Lego Mindstorms
    The owner and current CEO of the LEGO Co., Kjeld Kirk Kristiansen, is stepping down as CEO, but will remain on the board of directors. Jorgen Vig Knudstorp will assume the role of CEO of the company.
