Lego Star Wars is really fun, friendly and colourful little game. It’s not too complicated, but still very entertaining. You have to be a hardened cynic or a Star Wars hater not to like this game. The Force is indeed with the blocks. [June 2005, p.59]

It later lost the spot to the official game of Episode III but maintained a consistently high chart position throughout the month.
