Lee Ann Womack is a throwback to the olds days of country music. And guess what? She isn't going to apologize for it either. She is traditional, and she likes it that way. It doesn't hurt that Lee Ann is a looker too, that can keep even the harshest country music critic glued to the television.

Unlike many Nashville country music superstars, Lee Ann Womack writes her own songs. In fact, she was a successful songwriter long before she became a chart-crossing twang diva. Womack's mellifluous, characteristic voice sounds so seasoned and finessed, she makes Shania Twain look like a Dallas Cowboy's cheerleader.
