Noder's note: LeBron James is a high school basketball player at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Ohio, subject to the most hype of any high schooler since The Artist Formerly Known As Lew Alcindor. James was recently ruled ineligible for the remainder of the season for accepting approximately $800 in gifts from a local merchant. James is expected to be the #1 pick in this year's NBA Draft.

Lebron and kobe are an even match. But there both diffrent in diffrent ways. lebron is way diffrent kobe becuase he was the most hyped up player before he came in the league. lebron ... had a GREAT! rookie season which made him win The rookie of the year award. Kobe is better than lebron with his jumppers and Bron bron is better than kobe with his defense and the ablity to attack the paint in a way that nobody could Imagine. Bryant & james both came out of high school they have to to be the Best too nba player match up in in this generation.

The fans reaction to Lebron's superman like performance was well deserved. It was the second time this season he scored at least 50 points in a game. Lebron became the first player since Kareem Abdul Jabbar in 1975 to score 50 points with 10 assists and eight rebounds.

Heading down the stretch in ’04-when many rookies hit the proverbial wall-LeBron played perhaps his best ball of the year. In late March against the New Jersey Nets, he exploded for 41 points and 13 assists in a 107-104 victory. He posted two more double-doubles in April. Those types of performances stayed in voters’ minds when it came time for Rookie of the Year balloting. Though Carmelo Anthony ... had a big season, LeBron beat out his buddy and walked away with the hardware. Along the way, he aslo accepted an invitation to represent the U.S. on the 2004 Olympic men’s basketball team.

LeBron shook off the criticism and saw his game continue to grow in the 2005-06 season. Working with a supporting cast that included newcomers Donyell Marshall and Damon Jones, he averaged 31.4 points a game—good for third in the NBA—becoming the youngest ever to top the 30-point plateau. LeBron ... led the Cavs with 521 assists and 123 steals. At the '06 All-Star Game, he scored 29 points and took home MVP honors as the East gained a 122-120 victory.
