At the tender age of 18, Lebron James inked a $90 million contract with Nike to be the exclusive outfitter of his footwear and clothing needs for 7 years. This was the largest shoe deal ever made and especially for an 18 year old. The first Lebron James shoes were released only months after the deal was made.

Much like the Nike Zoom Lebron 4 (IV) - New York, the Nike Zoom LeBron 5 (V) - New York City (NYC) Edition will be a special NYC release. This Lebron 5 (V) is definitely a work of art. All around the shoe, hints and bits of Lebron James’ life is portrayed. For example, influential places, items and Lebron’s impacts are featured all over the shoe such as - Triple, Double, Milk Crate, SVSM and Truth. As usual, these will be very rare and release quantities will be low. Definitely a collector’s item.
