When Arkan was killed, Mihajlovic placed a wistful memorial notice in a Belgrade daily.

A virtually unwatchable Lazio dropped a must win game to lowly Empoli in a game that offered little hope. Lazio seemed devoid of ideas for long stretches of the match and worse, went through the motions in terms of effort.
