Under the terms of the agreement, TMT receives the right to manufacture B and D series engines in Brazil and to market them under its own brand name throughout Latin America. TMT will die cast and machine certain components for the same series that will be assembled by HATZ and sold throughout the rest of the world.

Effective Jan. 15, 2008, or as permitted by contract, prices for DuPont coatings, plastics, specialty, paper, and laminate titanium dioxide grades will increase $130 (US) per metric tonne in Latin America. This is in addition to the US$ 130 previously announced October 15, 2007.

Overall, PPL has received $851 million in proceeds from its Latin American divestitures.
