LAS VEGAS, Jan. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Las Vegas Sands Corp. (NYSE: LVS) announced today that the company has entered into a credit agreement which provides financing of up to SGD $5,442,604,530 for the development of the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Borrowings under the credit agreement will bear interest at a spread of 2.25% above the Singapore Dollar SWAP Offer Rate for a selected maturity of one, two, three or six months. The current Singapore Dollar Swap Offer Rate for a maturity of three months is approximately 2.16%.

LVS announced today that the company has completed the initial funding of SGD $2.0 billion under its credit facility for the development of the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. The initial borrowing under the credit facility, for which the interest rate is based on the Singapore Dollar Swap Offer Rate for a maturity of thirty days, bears interest at approximately 3.6%.

Would you believe that Las Vegas has some of the best climbing in America? Red Rock Canyon [57] is located on the western edge of the Las Vegas city limits and features hundreds of traditional/gear and sport routes. Climbing is possible year-round, though Spring and Fall tend to be most comfortable. There are a couple of guide books that detail the routes. Though the area does not receive much precipitation, it is worth remember that if the sandstone becomes wet (from rain or snow) it becomes brittle and you'd be wise to avoid it for at least two day before checking if it dried out.
