The main project target group is teachers of the less taught languages in technical colleges. Often these teachers are not educated as language teachers ... not making use of effective communicative language teaching methods. Apprentices from the iron and metal crafts and Building and construction will also benefit from a better language teaching before they go to other European countries as part of their college training or work placement periods. Many languages use unmarked verbs for the third person. Thus Chickasaw hita can mean either "to dance" or "he dances." Reduplication--the doubling of all or part of a word, usually to indicate plurality or intensity--is common, as in Barbareno Chumash ma, "jackrabbit," ma ma, "jackrabbits."
