Lamborghini: Lamborghini Reventon
built 630 days ago
Lamborghini Reventon in detail The Lamborghini Reventon is a practical illustration of the streamlined functionality and efficiency characterising the Centro Stile: it took less than a year to progress from the first ideas to the finished car. The complete design process from the first sketches on paper, to three dimensional computer models with 1:10 or 1:4 scale, right up to the real size prototype is organised around streamlined, fast, efficient work groups. Thanks to the Centro Stile, for the first time in its history, Lamborghini is now able to create its own style philosophy in-house without having to rely on any external collaboration.

Lamborghini Murcielago SV According to Autocar, Lamborghini is working on a superlight version of the Murcielago. Seen as a glorious end to its production (the Murcielago is scheduled to get out of production), the Murcielago SV will be about 130 kg lighter than the current LP640 and it seems it will be more powerful than the million Euro Reventon (they talk of about 680 hp for the SV).
Lamborghini upped the ante on absurd car prices when it unveiled the Reventon sports car in Geneva Tuesday. Volkswagen’s supercar subsidiary will produce just 20 of these cars for sale to “friends and collectors” at a price of 1 million euros each. That’s almost $1.4 million. The Reventon is named for the bull that killed Felix Guzman, a renowned bullfighter, in 1943.

The name Lamborghini Reventon has been chosen according to Lamborghini tradition. Lamborghini Reventon was a fighting bull, owned by the Don Rodriguez family. It is included in the list of the most famous bulls ever and is known for killing the famed bullfighter Felix Guzman in 1943.

Lamborghini Reventon Now the bad news is that the Lamborghini Reventon will cost 1 million Euros. Yes, you read correctly, 1 million Euro. That’s about $1.4 million. But the good news is that you don’t have to worry about not having that money, because all 20 units which will be produced are already sold. More pics after the jump.
lamborghini_reventon_frankfurt.jpg It appears the exclusive club of lucky buyers granted the right from Lamborghini to buy one of the 20 $1.5 million bull-brand Reventon super-priced cars may still have a member who's not yet been decided. The ex-professional soccer player Hugh McAuley, owner of Innovation Cars out of the UK is putting his Reventon up for sale. So if you've got the money and the lack of common sense necessary to give it up for this big-chin Lambo, there's a man named Hugh who can help you make your dreams come true. [via Pistonheads]
