Kreuk, who's favorite TV shows are Friends, Third Watch and Emergency Room, will soon be seen in the independent feature film Partition (2005), opposite Jimi Mistry and Neve Campbell. With Vic Sarin directing, Kristin will play a defenseless 17-year-old girl whose world is horrified by the trauma of the 1947 Separation of India.
In the summer of 2006, a short film called the Dream Princess by comic book writer and artist Kaare Andrews was made, where Kreuk plays The Princess. The film is a modern sci-punk retelling of the tale of Sleeping Beauty, with a twist. It is due to be released in 2007 in Canada.[1][2]
