Kreuk ... became well known through the popular Warner Bros television series Smallville (2001). The story is about the young life of comic book hero Clark Kent (Superman) and his hidden love for Lana Lang (played by Kristin). The success of the series helped launch Kristin's career. Shortly after, she did interviews for several popular magazines including Rolling Stone and Your Magazine.
