Kraven has got to be the winner as long as he takes out one pokemon out at a time. Kraven has the animal senses of Wolverine, the agility of Spiederman, the Punisher's weapons and the cleaverness of DoctorDoom. While the usual Pokemon has an IQ and wits compared a labotomized rotweiler,Kraven will lie hidden and bag em easily. After that,Kraven will be at home with Pikachu's head manteled on the wall.DIE PIKACHU, DIE!!!!!YOU DAYS ARE NUMBERED YOU YELLOW RODENT,HAHAHA!!

Kraven the Hunter sits perched on a rooftop, deep in thought at what challenges could be left for him. Those thoughts... are interrupted by the two lovely ladies with big guns with him announcing their boredom. He assures them that they will get the thrill of hunting the ultimate prey. However, Spidey has beaten them to it as he comes crashing onto the scene fighting the Man- Wolf.

While Kraven did kill himself in the book, there is currently someone calling himself “Kraven the Hunter” in present continuity, though I’m not enough of a fan to know the details there. Knowing how these things go... I’ll guess he’s a clone or a previously unknown son or the original’s brain put in a new body or something of that sort.

Aside from the augmentation of the mystical herbs, the original Kraven was a brilliant tactician and gifted hunter and tracker. He was a master of many forms of armed and unarmed combat. He was very familiar with medicine and with exotic poisons and tranquilizers. His sons ... possess(ed) knowledge in these areas.

X-MEN: THE HIDDEN YEARS devotes an issue to Kraven the Hunter fighting the Beast, in a scenario contrived even by John Byrne's standards. The gimmick is that Kraven has arbitrarily decided to have a go at hunting the Beast purely for the purpose of sharpening his skills. So he poisons minor supporting character Avia and says that if the Beast plays along, he'll hand over the antidote afterwards, whatever happens.
