Eagle Knoll is located on US Hwy. 63, between Columbia and Jefferson City Missouri and is open year round weather permitting. Spring and fall are especially scenic times with over 75 species of native flowers blooming from March through October, so bring your game and bring your camera!

The project is one of the standard teaching methods (Apel & Knoll, in press). It is generally considered a means by which students can (a) develop independence and responsibility, and (b) practice social and democratic modes of behavior.
