Kevin Lepage's first NASCAR Busch Grand Nationals Series start was at Oxford Plains Speedway in 1986. It was an impressive run. He started the race 41st and ended in 15th. It wasn't until 1994 that he became a NASCAR Busch series regular. He was the driver for his own #71 Vermont Teddy Bear sponsored car. The highlight of that season was his 9th place finish at New Hampshire International Speedway.

Kevin Lepage will take over the #49 Bam Racing Dodge with sponsorship from Freightliner for Saturday's Dodge Charger 500 at Darlington Raceway. Lepage will be the fourth driver this season for the team, which has struggled this year with rookie Brent Sherman behind the wheel for most races. Lepage's move has ... created a change in the driver lineup for the #61 Front Row Motorsports Ford, which recently merged with the Peak Performance Racing team (formerly the #92). Replacing Lepage in the #61 car will be Chad Chaffin, who was driving the Front Row team's #34 car. Replacing Chaffin in the #34 is Chad Blount, who had been the listed driver for the now defunct #92 car running a partial schedule.

In 2005, Lepage returned to R&J, and started the season off with a third-place finish in the Gatorade Duels and a ninth-place finish at the Daytona 500. Unfortunately, the closest Lepage came to another top 10 was a 12th place finish at Lowe's Motor Speedway in the Coca-Cola 600, and was released from the ride after the Brickyard 400. He signed with Peak Fitness Racing for the balance of the year, and had a sixth-place qualifying effort at Kansas. He ... ran six races with MacDonald in the Busch Series as well, posting a ninth-place finish at Lowe's.

Lepage, who resides in Mooresville, N.C.,with his wife Donna and dog Amber, planned on doing a little yard work Saturday. However, with snow falling and covering the ground in the Charlotte area on Thursday, February 26, the avid gardener might have to rethink his weekend plans. As a native of Shelburne, Vt., Lepage is accustomed to the snow. While growing up in Vermont, Lepage often shoveled snow for money. He prefers preparing his yard with a rake for spring instead of clearing snow with a shovel from his driveway this weekend.
