Kelly Rowland is kind of like how former NBA player Scottie Pippen was during his days with the Chicago Bulls. Kelly and Scottie both have/had above-average talent, but used to play second-fiddle to a player more talented than almost anyone else in the game (Beyonce/Michael Jordan). But where Pippen and Rowland differ is consistency: Pippen was overshadowed but still great every night. Kelly... shows on her second album, Ms. Kelly, that although she's got game, her efforts don't always match her potential. And that's the album's biggest problem. Some songs are quite good, but the rest are quite forgettable.

Kelly Rowland (born as Kelendria Trene Rowland) is an American R&B singer, songwriter, dancer, and actress, who rose to fame as one of the founding members of the successful R&B girl group «Destiny's Child». Rowland released her debut solo album «Simply Deep» in 2002, and their second album «Ms. Kelly» in 2007.

Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland has managed to stake out a successful solo career in her own right since that group's conclusion. Working in a contemporary, hip-hop-tinged R&B mode, Rowland scored several hits including high profile duets with hip-hop stars Nelly, Eve, and Joe Budden. Rowland has made the move into acting, with appearances in films and on television. Rowland released her sophomore album, MS. KELLY, in 2007.

Kelly Rowland rose to fame with the success of Destiny's Child during the late '90s. During that time, Destiny's Child catapulted into the new millennium as one of the best-selling female musical groups in history. Rowland, who was barely in her twenties, had been imagining such stardom for a long time. Born and raised in Atlanta, GA, Rowland began singing as soon as she heard the vocal beauty of Whitney Houston. She was only four at the time, but Houston's 1985 self-titled debut was enough to motivate the little girl. Performances with the church choir followed, but Rowland's developing interest in music blossomed when she and her family moved to Houston, TX.

Jessica Simpson, Kelly Rowland, Ali Landry and Holly Marie Combs today unveiled a series of photographs featuring Lovable bras, all to benefit charity. Partnering with US Weekly, Lovable asked each celebrity to select her favorite bras from an all-new Lovable collection and design a photographic vignette highlighting the bra in a way that matched her mood and personality. In three, the celebrity was ... the subject; in one she was the photographer. The bras in all are due in stores this month.

Rowland, 26, recently released her second solo album and was in the West African nation as part of The ThisDay Music Festival. She’s expected to return to the U.S. on Monday to continue the publicity tour for her Ms. Kelly album.
