1. Tom Conti -- Movie Guide
   Roger Moore and Tom Conti play federal agents who are helping Dr. Mike Ashton (Luke Perry) find his father and save the world from the senior Ashton's deadly invention. But wait: Beautiful and brilliant detective Penny Johnson (Olivia d'Abo) discovers they're bad guys after all who want the lethal chemical. But wait: They were only pretending to be bad guys in order to catch the real bad guys. But hold on: Penny knows just a little too much and may be a bad guy herself. And so it goes, with an occasional shootout by incompetent international terrorists, a car crash off a bridge, or a fiery explosion to keep things interesting. Only the most undemanding of viewers will think this confoundedly clich d import from the prolific off-shore B-movie production line (set in Quebec but shot in Luxembourg) is any great shakes.
2. Linda Fiorentino -- Vision Quest
   Liberty Wallace (Linda Fiorentino), heiress and co-president of America's largest gun manufacturer is on the way to meet her lover at a theater. While passing through a public park, a series of events finds her chained to a hotdog car, the long-range laser sight of a gun aimed at her chest. The owner of the gun (Wesley Snipes) calls her via cell phone to explain his agenda and let her know that there is bomb in the hot dog cart that will detonate when her cell phone runs out. So begins a game of cat-and-mouse in which serious questions are raised concerning the issue of gun control. Director Kari Skogland's audacious thriller combines action scenes with tense, intelligent dialogue, providing an intriguing change-of-pace for star Snipes.
3. Amish -- Amish Country
   In modern days, Amish quilts look quite a bit different than those that were first created in the 1870s. With the country’s bicentennial in 1976, many Americans began to look back on the country’s past. As they did this, Amish-made quilts grew in popularity.
4. Brenda Fricker
   Annie Ryan (Brenda Fricker) is a pragmatic madam who runs a bordello in a small prairie town in the 1870s. Wicked Wicked West follows her story as well as the stories of some of the girls that work for her as they deal with a competing bordello, a shooting in their bar and other difficulties of their profession as well as the era. Kelly McGillis, Meret Becker, Bronagh Gallagher, Lisa Jakub and Anna Mottram co-star.
5. Laura Linney -- Brown University
   As a child, Laura Linney attended boarding school, and spent three summers at Camp Equinita, a private summer camp for children. Her parents divorced while Linney was an infant, and she was mostly raised by her mother. But the time she spent with her father (a professor, playwright, and two-time Obie winner) had a profound impact, and young Linney soon decided she would be an actress. When she was 12, her father got her a job as a stagehand at a New Hampshire repertory theatre. She later studied drama at Northwestern, Brown, and the Juilliard School, where she became good friends with another student, Jeanne Tripplehorn.
6. Viggo Mortensen
   Viggo Mortensen is an accomplished poet, painter and photographer. But it's his acting that has captured the public's eye. Here's a look at some of his roles: "Witness" (1985). Best scene: Eyeballing Kelly McGillis' flirtation with Harrison Ford. "The Indian Runner" (1991). Playing the bad brother, Mortensen carves out a niche for himself at the simmering villain.
7. Tony Scott -- Top Gun
   Since leaving New York in 1959, Tony Scott (a top bebop-oriented clarinetist) has been an eager world traveler who enjoys exploring the folk music of other countries. Unfortunately, his post-1959 recordings have been few, far between, difficult-to-locate, and sometimes erratic, but Scott was an unheralded pioneer in both world music and new age.
8. Linda Fiorentino
   Carol Ann (Linda Fiorentino) and Wayne McKay (Dermot Mulroney) are high school sweethearts who married and continue to live happily in their small Pacific Northwest hometown. Carol works contentedly at a nursing home, but when a new patient is delivered, her comfortable life is turned upside down. The patient, Henry (Paul Newman), is a famous bank robber who has been left incapacitated by a stroke. Carol isn't convinced of this.... After she takes Henry out for a picnic, she boldly attempts to discover the truth. Luckily, for her sake, she was right.
9. Tony Scott -- Director Tony Scott
   Tony Scott is an English film director. He is the brother of director Ridley Scott. In 1985, Scott directed "Top Gun," one of the highest-grossing films of 1986, taking in more than $176 million, and making a star of its young lead, Tom Cruise. In 1990, Scott helmed the big-budget film "Days of Thunder." His body of work ... includes the films "The Last Boy Scout" and Quentin Tarantino's "True Romance."
10. Key West -- Island
    Since its founding in 1822, Key West has been a stage for both pirates and poets. Key West has been host to New England sailors, Spanish conquistadors, Bahamian salvagers, and Cuban shipwrights. History buffs can spend countless hours learning about the island.
