In the years leading up to 2007, Kate Moss was the subject of much tabloid fodder. In July 2005, Kate won a lawsuit against the British tabloid The Sunday Mirror for "falsely claiming" that she slipped into a coma after consuming cocaine. Unfortunately for Kate, in September 2005, the British newspaper The Daily Mirror printed pictures of her sniffing cocaine with her boyfriend Pete Doherty, the frontman of the former British punk band The Libertines. As a result, H&M, Chanel and Burberry canceled Kate Moss' contracts, and many were left wondering if the supermodel's career may be over. The Sun reported in September 2007 that Kate's contracts are down 18 to 11 from the previous year. Shortly after the story ran, Kate Moss became the Spring 2008 face for Donna Karan, Yves Saint-Laurent and Roberto Cavalli.

December 20, 2007 -- SUPERMODEL Kate Moss has her lawyers busy trying to gag her drug-addict ex-boyfriend, Pete Doherty. The Babyshambles frontman is negotiating with Britain's ITV2 network to tell all about their romance and share his home videos of her in a documentary titled "Kate & Pete: A Love Story." Doherty, who split with Moss last summer, could make $1 million, a source said, adding, "Producers hope he'll let them use a lot of film he and Kate shot on camcorders." But an insider told PageSix.com, "Kate is furious with Pete. She has contacted her lawyers and plans to get an injunction to stop the production." Moss will be horrified if the tapes surface. "Some of it is really raunchy stuff Kate believed would never be seen by anyone else," we're told. "She'll feel betrayed."

UK tabloid Sunday Mirror is reporting that Kate Moss is pregnant with junkie/rocker Pete Doherty. Phil Michels, described by Mirror as a gardener and Doherty's "favourite uncle" revealed the news after Doherty spoke to him from the couple's rehab/vacation in Italy. more
