Kasey Kahne: Laps
built 177 days ago
Once past Newman, Kahne still had to contend with Leffler, the pole-sitter who had dominated the race by leading a race-high 82 laps. But Leffler gave up the lead on late pit stop for tires. Leffler could have spun Kahne several times, but tried to pass him cleanly.

Kahne drove a 180.808 mph lap in the #9 Country Crock Dodge. #6-David Ragan, #16-Greg Biffle, #17-Matt Kenseth and #60-Carl Edwards were the rest of the top 5 in the final practice for Saturday’s Carquest Auto Parts 300.
Kahne was suffering through a sinus infection Saturday, but the illness didn't stop him from posting the fastest lap in Happy Hour. Jason Keller is on stand-by just in case Kahne can't drive Sunday or needs to get out of the car before the end of the race, ESPN.com reports.
