This is the second European victory at the PING Junior Solheim Cup. In 2003 at Bokskogan Golf Club in Bara, Sweden, Europe led 6.5-5.5 going into the singles matches. The two teams split the 12 matches, giving Europe a 12.5-11.5 victory, the narrowest margin of victory to date.

The United States carried an 8-4 lead into the final day's Singles matches and quickly picked up the points it needed to claim the inaugural PING Junior Solheim Cup. Winning eight of 12singles matches Wednesday, while halving two others, the U.S. squad added nine points to its total for a 17-7 victory over Europe.
