Essentially, the Kannon is very similar to the Primer and Deuce in that its face is hourglass-shaped. The middle of the head is the most narrow and the throat is fairly short, meaning that you can get your hands closer to the head and gain a slight advantage on clamps. In fact, the throat is so short that STX engineered a 3/4" part of the head that actually goes INSIDE the handle.
