built 659 days ago
Kane's first alleged appearance in history was as an advisor to Joseph Stalin during the Soviet invasion of Europe in what became the Great World War II, set almost half a century before the First Tiberium War. He was the true power behind Stalin and used the USSR to further the Brotherhood's goals together with Nadia, Stalin's closest advisor and a member of the Brotherhood herself. With the fall of the Soviet Union to the victorious Allied nations, Kane disappeared.

Kane, portrayed by Joseph Kucan. Within the fictional alternate history universe of Westwood Studios' Command & Conquer real-time strategy video games, Kane is the nefarious and seemingly immortal mastermind behind the ancient and secretive Brotherhood of Nod society. Little is truly known about the man; many of his followers draw a direct connection between him and the Abrahamic figure of Cain, which Kane does not go out of his way to confirm or deny.[1] Considered a charismatic and brilliant sociopath by the outside world, Kane's followers as well as Kane himself instead see him as a holy figure, even going so far as to refer to him as the Messiah.
Providing additional backup, Kane has the option to control a crew of criminal mercenaries to scout new and potentially dangerous locations or take out specific enemies. The optional crew-based combat system allows for added tactical strategy when in heavy gunfight situations enabling Kane to direct a crew member to cover fire at a specific target while sending another crew member to protect his flank position.

A classic example of a rural small town, Kane has a rich heritage. Kane was founded in 1863 by General Thomas L. Kane who was Pennsylvania's first volunteer for the Civil War and recruited the famous Bucktail Regiment. Prior to the Civil War he befriended the Mormons and escorted them to Utah Where they founded Salt Lake City.

One element Kane cannot control is Lynch. Succumbing frequently to psychotic episodes, Lynch flies off the handle at critical moments, foiling Kane's plans. In the two player Co-op mode, players get a split screen glimpse at the world through Lynch's eyes. Players will ... have the opportunity to play in the unique online multiplayer mode, supporting up to eight players online. This new multiplayer twist will shake up the online gameplay experience.

In death, Kane came to embody the Sin of Envy; what he did to obtain this rank is unknown. Instead of tormenting the denizens of Hell like most of the other Sins, Kane prefers to work behind the scenes, manipulating others and plotting. Currently Kane is amassing an army of Rework zombies and attempting to get the other Sins to align with him, so far allying with Emily (Pride) and Bob and Lisa (Gluttony). What he and his allies are planning to do is, once again, unknown.
