Kamal Haasan, who completed the shooting for 'Dasavatharam', called on Chief Minister M Karunanidhi at the latter's residence in Chennai on Friday. The actor was cosseted with the Chief Minister for over 10 minutes and briefed him about the progress of 'Dasavatharam'. It may be recalled that Kamal Haasan during his earlier meeting with Karunanidhi had shown him pictures of the ten different roles that he is playing in Dasavatharam.

Actually Kamal and Ravikumar had kept three days for Asin to dub for the film, as her role is the second most important character in the film after the hero. They expected it to be a tough job, as she had to speak with a Thanjavur Brahminical accent, but she managed to pull it off in most cases in the first take itself!

According to actor Kamal Haasan, who plays the role of Tenali, "He's a slightly psycho-neurotic person. He's absolutely paranoid about things. Some people are worried about heights, some people are worried about darkness, some people are scared to see vast open areas, some people are claustrophobic.
