Kabbalah is not a philosophy or theosophy. Kabbalah is work to be done. The kabbalists of the past were people of action, not people of theory or philosophy. They were constantly traveling from town to town, giving charity, and assisting people in creating better lives for themselves.

The third world of the spheres of the Kabbalah is named Yeziriah, meaning formation, and is associated with the realm of the Briatic angels. The world of Yeziriah is that each of the Manifestations had an Establisher. First the Manifestation delivers the revelation, then the Establisher appears to help arrange and put the revelation in order and assemble the people who are to learn it. The Establishers are angelic people who firmly establish the teachings of the prophets into the world.

The difficulty in finding a teacher can be viewed as a nuisance or a positive part of learning Kabbalah. A thing is valued more when it is hard to find. Associate with people who share your interests, go to lectures and public meetings, go to workshops, go to whatever happens to be available, (even if it is not entirely to your taste), and sooner or later someone will "turn up".
