Even if Julie Bishop was working on the basis that every ATC reaches their full enrolment capacity, this would still only help around 30,000 to 40,000 students when they are all up and running. And this is factoring in the full announcement to establish a total of 100 additional Australian Technical Colleges, including the 70 schools the Coalition’s policy is seeking to convert to specialist colleges.

Lyric soprano Julie Bishop recently completed a successful summer season with Intermezzo Opera, where she performed the role of Belinda in Purcell's Dido and Aeneas under the baton of Metropolitan Opera conductor David Jackson. Upcoming engagements include Pitti-Sing in the Gilbert and Sullivan Society of Chester County's production of The Mikado, and a cabaret fundraiser to benefit the musical theatre program at Whitehall High School.
