Jude Law is one of the most sought after leading men today. Born in London, by age 12 he was appearing in England's National Youth Music Theatre. By 17, Law had joined the cast of a British TV series Families. He began his London stage career in George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion and appeared in several productions in the West End and at the National Theater in London.

Anyway, it's time to add SLEUTH on to that remake list, with Jude Law again stepping into role Caine played in the original. The flick is about an older author (of thrillers) who loses his wife to a young hairdresser. The author uses his talents and comes up with a radically complex plan for revenge. In the original, Caine played the young hairdresser and Laurence Olivier played the writer, but now Caine is playing the writer and Law the thieving hairdresser.

He is the father of four children: Finlay Munro (stepson of Law, born September 20, 1990), son Rafferty (born October 6, 1996), daughter Iris (born October 25, 2000) and son Rudy (born September 10, 2002). Jude Law was born December 29, 1972 in south east London. He started acting with the National Youth Music Theatre at the age of 12 and, at 17, he dropped out of school completely, to star in a Granada daytime TV Soap called "Families" (1990). In 1992, Jude began his stage career. He starred in many plays throughout London, and was nominated for the Laurence Olivier Award of "Outstanding Newcomer". After doing the play "Indiscretions" in London, he moved and did it again on Broadway. This time, he was alongside Kathleen Turner.

Jude Law is desperate to stay young and relevant. This could be why he strayed with the Nanny last year and continues to date on and off again younger fiance, Sienna Miller.
