One thing that should be pointed out here is that while Jon Stewart has only had John Kerry on his show and not George Bush, that is because George Bush won't do the show. Stewart has had plenty of Bush's people on the show, and even on monday when Ed Koch was saying he's pro Bush and the crowd Booed, Stewart agreed with Koch that it was uncalled for.

Last night on "A Daily Show," Jon Stewart mocked the multi-screen format "The Situation Room." In particular, he commented on the use of one of the six screens to display...Spongebob Square Pants.
Later that year, Stewart developed his own talk show at MTV. Despite the quick cancellation of his previous MTV show, the network was still eager to work with him. The Jon Stewart Show was the first talk show on that network and was an instant hit, becoming the second highest-rated MTV show behind Beavis and Butt-head.[25] In 1994, Paramount pulled the plug on The Arsenio Hall Show and, with new corporate sibling MTV (through MTV parent Viacom’s acquisition of the studio), launched an hour-long syndicated late-night version of The Jon Stewart Show. Many local affiliates had moved Hall’s show to 2am during its decline and Stewart’s show inherited such early morning time slots in many cities. Ratings were dismal and the show was canceled in June 1995.
Stewart had played a minor character in the 1994 film Mixed Nuts, and shortly after his TV show's demise he signed a contract with Miramax to perform in movies. He has appeared since in a variety of films, including Wishful Thinking (1997), Half Baked (1998), Since You've Been Gone (1998), The Faculty (1998), Playing by Heart (1998), Big Daddy (1999), Committed (2000), Death to Smoochy (2002), and others.
There are two: First, in 2000 and 2004 when Jon and his staff won the Peabody Award for excellence in broadcasting for The Daily Show’sIndecision … series. The special episodes and reports cut through the spin of the presidential political campaign, mixing its “fake” reporters with the real press corps.
