John Stamos was in Australia promoting E.R. During an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Stamos was slurring his words and could barely get two words together. He blamed his behavior on jet lag. The next morning he appeared on a morning show where he was all over the place asking Australians to ban the Daily Telegraph for what they said and started rambling on about some bar he wants to open on the gold cost with free drinks and shrimp for girls. Which sounds AWESOME Uncle Jesse.

There are people who think John Stamos hasn't really ''made it'' in Hollywood. Never mind that his 1981 acting debut at 18, as street tough Blackie Parrish on General Hospital, lasted a memorable two years. Or that his eight seasons as the Olsen twins' fun-loving uncle Jesse on Full House gave him enough TV clout to go from exec-producing such miniseries as The Beach Boys: An American Family to headlining his own series (albeit failed ones like ABC's Thieves and Jake in Progress, both of which were short-lived). Stamos says folks still ask why he hasn't been more successful and frankly, he can't blame them.

Hunky, cleft-chinned actor John Stamos started his career as Blackie Parrish on the soap opera General Hospital, but his most recognizable role remains Uncle Jesse on the family sitcom Full House. He made his film debut in the motorcycle movie Born to Ride, but he never fully made a transition to films. After a short time recording with the Beach Boys as a singer and drummer, he started dancing as well and joined the Broadway cast of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. In 1998, he married his model/actress Rebecca Romijn and hosted the VH1 celebrity talk show The List. He then turned to producing television with the ABC miniseries The Beach Boys: An American Family. In 2002, he began playing the Master of Ceremonies in the Broadway production of Cabaret.

John Stamos on Monday had a run-in with a belligerent passenger as he flew from Chicago (where he was lensing ER) to Los Angeles. According to Access Hollywood, Stamos was asleep in first class when a woman shook him awake. When the female ignored Stamos' demand that she stop, he got up to use the loo, only to find her steadfastly deposited in his seat when he got back. The woman then allegedly made quite a scene, necessitating an FBI welcoming committee when the plane touched down at LAX.Stamos did not press charges. read more
