William Nash (1763-1834), was the nephew of Francis Nash, his father being either Thomas or John Nash. His grandfather was John Nash, an immigrant to Virginia from Wales. William was 17, living in Guilford County, North Carolina when he served in the Revolution. He participated in the Battle of Charleston, South Carolina and was among those who formed a battalion of light infantry under Major Armstrong and General Griffith Rutherford. He was among the troops at "Gates Defeat " by Lord Cornwallis near Camden, South Carolina, although he was out of action during this engagement because of sickness.

John Nash - architect, town-planner, landscape designer, bridge-builder, engineer and entrepreneur - was born in 1752 and died in 1835, outliving his principal patron, King George IV, by five years. After a disheartening start, he went on to become the most successful and fashionable architect of his time.

Why is John interested in mathematical modeling of the behavior of pigeons? How is the behavior of creatures of nature relevant to the theories he will develop? How do animals behave compared to people? What does that say about nature and people?

Eventually, John was hospitalized at McLean private hospital near Boston. John was terrified of being locked up, thinking that he didn't belong there. He was diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic and given Thorazine to calm him down. His treatment there was psychoanalysis and his doctors referred to him as "Professor".

All that Neptune, Venus trine Mars and conjunct Sun would suggest John Nash is devotional himself, and might elicit devotion from others. It would be interesting to see he and his wife’s composite chart…perhaps karmic debts, or just a real Unconditional Love…I think this was part of his journey too. To experience the Love that frees the Soul to Be ... become.
