Noted mathematician John Nash, Jr. (1928- ) received his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 1950. The impact of his 27 page dissertation on the fields of mathematics and economics was tremendous. In 1951 he joined the faculty of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. His battle with schizophrenia began around 1958, and the struggle with this illness would continue for much of his life. Nash eventually returned to the community of Princeton. He was awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 1994.

He has been awarded the von Neumann Prize and the 1994 Nobel Prize for Economics, as well as fellowships of prestigious scientific academies and societies.

John Forbes Nash Jr. was born on June 13, 1928 in Bluefield, West Virginia. His father was an electrical engineer and his mother worked as a school teacher before marrying her husband. John was brought up in a loving household that nurtured his genius. It was apparent at an early age that he liked to work independently, often playing alone.

Michael Bradford is quite right in comparing the chart of John Nash, Jr. to both Bill Gates and Albert Einstein, both ... with Gemini Ascendants and either Moon or Mercury in a dual sign. In both cases also the 5th house lords are very strong. The difference is that Einstein's Moon is in Scorpio and his Mercury in Pisces, giving greater harmony and intuition between the facets of the mind. Also, in each case Venus, best planet for Gemini Ascendant is very strong. Einstein's Venus is exalted in Pisces, Gates' Venus is in its own sign in Libra in the 5th house.
