Falcon's Defensive End John Abrahamthen sacked Carolina Panthers Quarterback Jake "The Snake" Delhomme. Abraham's second sack of the day brought up a fourth down at the Falcons 29. But, an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on Hall gave the visitors a first down in the red zone. Two plays later the Panthers tied the game with a Delhomme to Jeff King touchdown pass.

Mar 21, 2006: NY Jets traded John Abraham to the Atl Falcons. The Atl Falcons traded a 2006 1st-round pick to the Den Broncos. The Den Broncos traded a 2006 3rd-round pick and a 2007 4th-round pick to the Atl Falcons; and traded a 2006 1st-round pick to the NY Jets.
