   Eddie was ... a dedicated environmentalist. Because of him, Earth Day falls on his birthday, April 22. He was also the national conservation chairman for the Boy Scouts of America. Thanks to him, the use of the chemical pesticide DDT was discontinued, due to the sudden decrease in the pelican population in California.
2. Maudslay State Park -- Merrimack River
   Miles of space to walk and jog and picturesque views of the Merrimack River are reasons why Nancy Carpenter enjoys taking Daisy, an eight-year-old golden retriever, to Maudslay State Park, in Newburyport. The former estate features 19th-century gardens and plantings, meadows, and towering pines.

5. Lili Taylor -- Characters
   Lili Taylor is an indie heavyweight. The characters she portrays consistently tip the scales toward unpredictable in tender, peculiar ways. In many aspects, Taylor is the epitome of a character actor--the type who, freed from the constraints of leading lady-dom, searches out the hidden corners of humanity. Her characters are rebels, or they're outcasts, or they would rather express themselves through folksongs than speaking. They jog along the fringe, and they kind of like it there.
6. Runner
   Eastside Runners is a club for every kind of runner. ESR consists of individuals and families that range from recreational runners interested in socializing to serious runners interested in improving their running performance. All ages are welcome, from babes in jogging strollers to senior citizens.
7. Black Hawk Down (2001) -- Somalia
   Black Hawk Down wastes no time in setting its scenario. Subtitles tell the story of how, in 1993, the United Nations sent food packets to famine-ravaged Somalia as part of a humanitarian world gesture. The shipments were intercepted and kept from the masses by a militant group lead by Mohamed Farah Aidid, who had gained control over much of the region as a result of the country's years of in-fighting. The United States then lead a military force in to the region to oust Aidid.
8. Starbuck -- Kara Thrace
   Starbuck and Kat are involved in the protection of a mining operation from periodic Raider attacks. One Raider, nicknamed Scar, fuels an intensive rivalry for the pilot's "top gun" honor. Thrace, still depressed over her inability to convince Fleet command to initiate a rescue for Samuel Anders and his resistance, drinks heavily and obsesses over removing Scar from the sky, even at the cost of her life. Fortunately, Starbuck realizes the futility of her actions, and works together with Kat to destroy the remarkably dangerous Raider (Scar).
9. Montparnasse -- Hotel
   Bowling lanes, bicycle rental, and a large fitness club are all within 2 blocks of the hotel in the Montparnasse neighborhood. The elevated Jardin Atlantique across the street has a popular jogging trail. In-line skaters can join thousands of Parisians for a three-hour night tour of Paris every Friday night, meeting at 10 PM outside the Montparnasse train station.
10. Bill Bixby -- Magician
    Bill Bixby had several hobbies: farming, golfing, swimming, cooking, carpentry, fishing, photography, sailing, hiking, jogging, and painting. He was ... an amateur magician in his spare time. According to E! True Hollywood Story, on one of his short-lived series, The Magician, Bixby performed a lot of magical stunt tricks himself, and was a professionalist on the set, as well.
