Jodie Sweetin - Full House American actress Jodie Sweetin was born on January 19, 1982 in Los Angeles, California. Best known for the role of Stephanie in the classic sitcom Full House, she ... came into prominence for her battle with drug addiction, in particular crystal meth. After majoring in mass communications at Chapman Univeristy, she first began her acting career in commercials, doing ads for companies such as Oscar Mayer and Disney. She also appeared in television shows such as The Hogan Family, Party of Five, Yes, Dear, and Brotherly Love. She was formerly married to a police officer, though after her addiction was revealed and she entered rehab, they settled a divorce.

In 2002, Sweetin married police officer Shaun Holguin. Shortly after, she developed a serious crystal meth addicition that went completely unnoticed for almost two years. In 2005, she checked herself into rehab. Her husband filed for divorce because her addiction jeopardized his status as a police officer.

This was the second trip down the aisle for Sweetin, 25, who split from Los Angeles police officer Shaun Holguin in 2006 after four years of marriage. Onscreen older sister Candace Cameron served as maid of honor for her first set of nuptials.

After a stint in rehab, Sweetin is now clean, sober, and ready to get back to work. Maybe her former co-stars Mary-Kate and Ashley can help her find a new job. They seem to be doing pretty well for themselves.
Jodie was briefly featured as a secondary character on Fox's Party of Five. Jodie joined the cast beginning with the October 19, 1999 show. Since then, Jodie ... had a featured spot in a music video for the startup group "Up Syndrome" in 2000.
