With appearances on Good Morning America and The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch, Sweetin detailed her experience with this dangerous drug and what it took for her to seek treatment.

When not at school, Jodie currently lives with her proud parents in California. She has no siblings, but was once heard to say that she wished she had a younger brother. Though life as an only child can be tough at times, Jodie has handled it well. Jodie does have a pet dog, Lacey. Lacey is a Lhasa Apso. An interesting tidbit is that Jodie received Lacey as a gift from the producers of a Sizzler commercial she appeared in. The producers liked Jodie so much and gave her Lacey as a token of their admiration.

Sweetin was an only child and never had interactions with people her own age, and once she was in high school the pressures to fit in comfortably with her peers were intense. "The one thing that I wanted more than anything was just to blend in with the wall," Sweetin commented during her lecture. "I just wanted to be like everybody else."

Despite her time away from the business, Sweetin still seemingly plays the part of child actor, exuding a Zen-like ability to avoid immodest answers while still sounding like a perfectly contented co-star. It's that synthetic kind of poise that makes Dakota Fanning so disturbing and Lindsay Lohan once seem so principled.
