Jim Morrison was born James Douglas Morrison on December 8, 1943, in Melbourne, Florida. His father was an Admiral in the United States Navy. His family moved around due to his father's job and position in the Navy. Morrison's father was a strict authoritarian figure. Perhaps this had an influence on Jim Morrison's rebellion that he reflected later in his music. Jim Morrison attended St. Petersburg Junior College and Florida State University, both for a year.
Known as one of the most popular singers of his time, Jim Morrison was the lead vocalist and the song composer of the popular American rock brand ‘The Doors’. Some of the exquisite features of his personality were that apart from being a singing sensation, he is usually rated with the magnetic charm of his presence, which was usually felt by his electrifying presence on and off screen. Some of the other facets of his exceptional talent were exposed through several poetry books, short films and docu-features, and three exceptional music videos that were only of its kind. One of the milestone events in his musical career was ‘The Doors’. In the decade of the 1960s, when Morrison finished with his graduation he used to reside at the Venice Beach. It is by this time that the musical duo Jim Morrison and Ray Manzarek decided that both of them should form a music band.

Jim Morrison on Trial Jim Morrison missed his scheduled flight into Miami and spent the time waiting for the next flight, drinking in the airport lounge. Once he boarded the plane he continued drinking. During a stopover in New Orleans he missed his flight again and consumed even more drinks waiting for the next flight. By the time he reached Miami he was extremely drunk. Once he took the stage he was almost falling down drunk. He was abusive towards the audience, he would start a song only to stop it after a few lines, he would bum even more drinks from members of the audience.
