The Mitzvah Society and Metro Business of the Jewish Federation of South Palm Beach County will join forces to respectively pay tribute to attorney Ronald L. Siegel, Esq. and business leader Howard Kaye for their continuous leadership and support of the Jewish community, at a March 11, 6:00 pm cocktail reception at the Woodfield Country Club. LOS ANGELES, Feb 10, 2008 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- The Jewish Federation's 2008 Annual Campaign kicks off today with Super Sunday, the L.A. Jewish community's single biggest fundraising day. More than 2,000 volunteers will staff phones in three locations - mid-city, San Fernando Valley and South Bay - calling 50,000 people with hopes raising more that $4 million in one day for essential social programs including literacy services, job training and food pantries serving needy Angelenos.

During the 2007 campaign, Federation raised nearly $4.25 million, which will benefit both Jewish and non-Jewish service recipients in Portland and abroad. Federation dollars enrich and uplift lives through the humanitarian programs of its local and overseas beneficiary agencies.
