A Jew is a member of the Jewish religion, ethnic group or people. Different Jews define themselves differently and "Jew" has been defined differently by non-Jews as well. Jews are descendants of the original inhabitants of the land of Israel or Palestine, and of people who converted to Judaism and became part of the Jewish people. Not all Jews are religious. Some are atheists or agnostics. Israel has one of the highest percentages of atheists in the world.

The Jew is a very peculiar creature that happens to be Mel Gibson's best friend. This is from a big fear of his that he won't make it in the movie industry, which is created, controlled, and somewhat tolerated by Jewish people. They often appear to be like normal Americans, but Jews have distinguishing characteristics - nose, face, hair, big penis (this is not so for those Jewesses, you know who you are) - that disclose their Jewishness to the trained eye. These features have gone undocumented until recently because of how all Jews are doctors and vice-versa.

Jew Watch reports on its website at www.jewwatch.com that the Pope, according to CNN, did not begin studying for the priesthood until 1943, after both of his parents were deceased. His Jewish mother died when the Pope was only nine years old, so he lived with his father most of his life. According to church historians, the Pope’s father was extremely religious and would pray from his knees on the floor each night in the small room where they lived.

The Anti-Defamation League, a Jewish civil rights group, protested the award, saying it was "inappropriate" to honour Lustiger, who was born a Jew but left the faith.
