Flintstones will beat the crap out of the jetsons. Why? because they parodied the sopranos. Anyone who parodies the mob and lives to tell about it has gotta be Mr. T level tough. Fred ... is a psycho who has schizophrenia, everytime he has a blow to the head he changes his persona. therefore he'll change his plan of attack everytime george gets a lucky shot in and will confuse him by being a romantic gentleman one moment, the bastard son of Al Pachino and Robert DeNiro the next.

The Fairly Oddparents, in the Nickelodeon TV movie Channel Chasers, when Timmy Turner first went in TV, he went into a cartoon that is a spoof of The Jetsons, but instead was called "The Futurellis." Two parodies of George Jetson and Astro can be seen in this TV movie.

[One] way The Flintstones paved the way for The Jetsons was by premiering on prime-time TV... sparking the first prime-time animation fad. George et al. premiered on ABC's prime-time schedule in 1962. Once the fad had run its course, however, they were relegated to Saturday morning, where the same 24 episodes were re-run over and over.

Waldo continued to voice the part in subsequent Jetsons productions. George O'Hanlon, the voice of George Jetson, and Mel Blanc, the voice of Mr. Spacely, died during production of the film, so Jeff Bergman filled in for both characters in a handful of scenes. The film was dedicated to the memory of both O'Hanlon and Blanc.
