Jet Li stated that he was giving up the extensive, physical films that required a lot of wire work and blaa bllaaaaa bla. He did not say he was giving up standard action films like Craddle to the Grave and all that pap.

Li's latest Hollywood film, War, was released in August 2007, and re-teamed him with actor Jason Statham who previously starred with him in The One and action choreographer Corey Yuen. Surprisingly War failed to do well at the box office becoming one of Li's lowest grossers in America.
