As they bask in the glory of their hit MTV-produced show “Newlyweds”, it appears that Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson will ... be in primetime April 11th on ABC. They are slated to host “The Nick and Jessica Variety Hour,” which will surely not be as funny as Sonny & Cher or Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In. The already star-studded guest lineup includes Johnny Bench, Miss Piggy, Babyface, and Mr. T. Ms. Simpson better look out for Miss Piggy, who is definitely the jealous type and is probably holding a grudge against her ever since she gave the googly eyes to Kermit the Frog on a Pizza Hut commercial. This could be trouble, folks.
