Jessica Alba Jessica Alba may be a former child star, but luckily (for everyone), she hasn't faded into obscurity or the world of made-for-TV movies. After making her debut in the 1994 film Camp Nowhere, Jessica Alba was cast in the TV series The Secret World of Alex Mack. In 1995, she could be seen in TV's Flipper, but she became better known for a kidnapping incident during the show's filming.

JALBA102407_01.jpg The movies that Jessica Alba makes sell amazingly well so she has to be doing something right, whether some of you want to admit it or not. As for the comment about her teeth falling out, you should get your facts straight. In the last movie she filmed, Good Luck Chuck, there was a kissing scene in which her teeth and the other actor's teeth hit causing both to be chipped. She had dental work to repair the damage, but then again, who wouldn't?

Alba fears being typecast as a sex kitten based on the bulk of parts offered to her.[22] "Somehow, I don't think this is happening to Natalie Portman," laments Alba. In the interview, Alba says she wants to be taken seriously as an actress but believes she needs to do movies that she would otherwise not be interested in to build her career, stating that eventually she hopes to be more selective in her film projects.
