Even without being the reigning queen of science fiction and fantasy entertainment, brunette power pack Jessica Alba would be a queen of fantasy. But unlike the adorable, largely underachieving dolls who routinely show up on "Hottest 100" lists, the perennially drooled over Miss Alba is hugely accomplished on large screen and small. Dark Angel, Sin City, Fantastic Four and Good Luck Chuck would all be poorer without the golden talent of Jessica Alba.

Jessica Alba started her illustrious acting career as Max with the short lived TV series ‘Dark Angel’. The changes that she does to her hairstyle have always been in the news as over the years she has experimented with all types of hair styles from long dark hair to short blond bob and back again to elegant long mane. Her forays into new hairstyles have been natural and effortless. Moreover, all sorts of hairstyles suit her very well.
Jessica Alba's first film role in the 1994 film Camp Nowhere came to her by chance. She was cast with a bit part in the film after one of the characters dropped out of the production. Dark-haired Jessica was cast as the replacement, thanks to the fact that her hair matched that of the original actress.

Although many would describe her as an exotic beauty, Jessica Alba was raised in a traditional American family in California. Her mother's family has a French-Danish heritage, while her father is from Mexican-Indian and Spanish lineage. She began acting at age 12 and first achieved worldwide recognition as the lead in James Cameron's "Dark Angel." Alba's film credits are equally as impressive. She co-starred in the critically-acclaimed "SinCity," directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller and as the female lead role in Marvel Comics' action-franchise blockbuster "Fantastic Four," which was released by 20th Century Fox in July 2005. Jessica's Sue Storm (aka The Invisible Girl) and her co-stars recently finished filming the next installment: "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer," which is directed by Tim Story and opens worldwide in June. Alba has ... completed the psychological thriller, "Awake," opposite Hayden Christensen, the independent comedy, "Bill," with Aaron Eckhart and Elizabeth Banks and will star opposite Dane Cook in the romantic comedy, "Good Luck Chuck," all to be released in 2007.
